The Defense Forces of Ukraine have advanced 1,600 meters on the southern and northern flanks in the Bakhmut sector.
For the first time since the outset of Russia's full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization has officially reacted to the situation, expressing concern about the consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam explosion.
On 7 June, the first episode of a video blog by Tucker Carlson, a TV presenter who was fired from the US TV channel Fox News in April, was posted on Twitter. One of the key topics of the vlog was the explosion at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant in Kherson region and speculation about Ukraine’s complicity.

Ukraine’s Air Force has launched 10 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel.
Three bridges and more than seventy houses are flooded in the de-occupied Kherson region.
Foreign media do not indicate who is responsible for the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP. Instead, they state say that the author is unknown. This has caused indignation within the Ukrainian society, which has been defending itself from the Russian attack for more than 9 years.
A defensive-offensive operation is ongoing in Donetsk region. The defense forces have success not only on the flanks around Bakhmut but also on other areas of the front.
The explosion at the Kakhovka HPP has caused the flooding of the positions of Russian military units and may wash out Russian minefields and trigger their chaotic detonation.
The blowing up of the dam of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant is another terrible testimony to the barbaric nature of Russia's war against Ukraine and a new round of escalation.
