Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue, Asia’s leading defense summit, that Ukraine would be ready to export grain by sea only if a maritime corridor was created of the ships belonging to “civilized countries” as Ukraine has no trust in any proposals coming from Russia.

The United States, together with its allies, partners and international organizations, are very focused on ensuring that Ukrainian grain gets to the market blocked by Russian aggression.
The authorities established by the Russian invaders in Melitopol plan to hold a pseudo-referendum on joining Russia. First deputy chief of the Putin’s staff Sergey Kiriyenko has visited the city. At the same time, the population shows no support for the referendum.
