Russian planes, tanks and Iskander systems destroy Donetsk Region

The relevant statement was made by the National Police of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Russian troops opened fire on such settlements as Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Zalizne, Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Sloviansk, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Novoselivka 1, Zhelanne, Opytne, Orlivka, Zvanivka and Kurdiumivka.

The enemy used aviation, Iskander missile systems, Uragan and Smerch multiple launch rocket systems, artillery and tanks. Some civilians were killed.

A total of 37 civilian objects were damaged, including 26 residential houses, two schools, farm, grain storage facilities, railway station, administrative building, etc.

The police documented the war crimes committed by the Russian Federation. Criminal proceedings were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of laws and customs of war).

A reminder that, according to the consolidated report from military and civil administrations, eight civilians have been killed and 16 injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk Region and Luhansk Region over the past day.
