Russians drop three glide bombs on Zaporizhzhia: One civilian killed, five wounded

This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, according to Ukrinform.

Initial reports indicated that at least two people had been injured. According to preliminary information, the strike damaged a shop and other civilian infrastructure in one of the city’s districts.

Fedorov later confirmed that one person had been killed.

“Unfortunately, one person was killed. The air raid alert in the regional center is still ongoing. Stay in safe places,” he wrote.

The head of the regional administration later updated the casualty figure, stating that the number of injured had risen to three, and then to five.

Ukraine’s National Police reported on Facebook that Russian forces struck a residential area of Zaporizhzhia with three guided aerial bombs.

One of the bombs hit the territory of a religious facility where people were present at the time. A man was killed, and two people were initially reported injured.

A shop and nearby buildings were also destroyed, and vehicles were damaged.

Investigative teams, police units, patrol officers, volunteers, and ambulance crews are working at the scene.

Soon afterward, regional chief reported that the number of people injured as a result of the Russian attack had risen to five.

“The number of injured as a result of the enemy strike has increased to five,” Fedorov said.

As reported earlier, Russian forces carried out drone attacks on two districts of the Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person and injuring another.
