This week alone, Russia launched more than 1,070 guided aerial bombs, nearly 1,000 attack drones, and six missiles against Ukraine,” the President emphasized. “Everything agreed with our partners must be accelerated as much as possible. Every missile for air defense systems that is currently held in storage by partners can truly save lives,” Zelensky stressed. According to the President, “stability and predictability of assistance to Ukraine are what can really push Moscow toward diplomacy.” “We count on continued defense assistance and support for the prepared documents on security guarantees by the United States, Europe, and partners within the Coalition of the Willing,” he added. Zelensky also expressed gratitude to “everyone around the world who, through their strength, helps diplomacy and all efforts toward a just peace.” As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s air defense forces intercepted 39 of 52 drones launched by Russia against Ukraine from the evening of January 3.
