Almost 100 state building codes have been digitized in Ukraine - Kubrakov

The Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector (USESCS) has been updated with 97 digitized state building codes (SBC) and amendments to them. Previously, they were available only in paper form.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery - Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In early April, we resumed the publication of open data on construction in the USESCS and on the portal. In March, we launched an e-office on the Diia portal, which displays all documents in the construction sector in which the user is listed as a construction customer. In the coming months, the portal will also offer the ability to work with updated versions of documents and document revisions, as well as search the centralized glossary of terms," he said.

Kubrakov reminded that the digitization of all state building codes was carried out in cooperation with the Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine II project, which is being implemented by the German government company Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and funded by the governments of Germany and Switzerland.

The process of digitizing the SBCs and uploading them to the E-system portal began with the launch of the USESCS in 2020. The portal stores information on both the current document and the amendments that have been adopted to it.

As reported, in April 2023, the Unified State Electronic System for Construction (USESCS) and the portal resumed publishing open data on construction, which was suspended last year due to Russia's full-scale invasion.

Following consultations with law enforcement agencies, a list of information was determined whose publication does not pose a threat to national security and defense and can be made available to the public again.
