On August 25, the Armed Forces of Ukraine engaged in 136 combat clashes with Russian forces, with the Pokrovsk sector remaining the hottest spot, where the enemy attempted attacks 43 times.
When Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, many in Western capitals believed Kyiv could fall within days. However, the efforts of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) and U.S. support reshaped the course of the war and pushed it onto the aggressor’s territory.
