SBU hits strategic fuel hub supplying Moscow region and major airports

Operators of the Alpha special operations center of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) struck the Vtorovo linear production-dispatch station in Russia’s Vladimir region.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the SBU.

The station is a key hub in Russia’s main petroleum pipeline system and transports fuel (mainly diesel) from refineries in central Russia to export ports and domestic consumers. It supplies large fuel depots around Moscow as well as the Sheremetyevo Airport, Domodedovo Airport, and Vnukovo Airport.

As a result of a successful drone strike by the SBU, a large-scale fire covering about 800 square meters broke out at the facility.

Unlike the enemy, which deliberately attacks civilian infrastructure and civilians, Ukraine carries out precise strikes exclusively on military and strategic targets linked to Russia’s war effort.

The Security Service continues to systematically implement the President of Ukraine’s directives to reduce Russia’s military and economic capacity to wage war against Ukraine.

“The SBU is already preparing new special operations. The intensity of Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory will only increase. Our long-range sanctions will continue to work,” said SBU chief Yevhehii Khmara.
