Navy sailor wounded in Odesa region attack dies in hospital

Chief Petty Officer Roman Borshch, who was wounded in the shelling of the Odesa region, died in hospital.

This was reported on Facebook by the mayor of Kiliya Vyacheslav Chernyavsky, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of the attack of Russian aggressors on the south of the Odesa region on August 29, Chief Petty Officer Borshch Roman Anatoliyovych, born on June 26, 1992, a resident of the city of Kiliya, died in hospital from his wounds," the statement reads.

A day of mourning has been declared on the territory of the Kiliya community tomorrow, August 31, in connection with the burial.

As reported, a 21-year-old guard of a civilian building was killed in Odesa as a result of an attack at night on July 20.
