Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has created global consequences, including a food crisis for developing countries. In this context, the EU will continue to take measures to solve this and other problems, which are a matter of concern for the entire international community.
As part of the grain agreement, Ukraine has and fulfills its obligations to the UN and Türkiye, with which it declared that it would retain the right to supply Ukrainian grain for another 120 days. The agreement does not mention any additional conditions apart from grain supplies by sea.

In 2022/2023 marketing year (MY), Ukraine exported 35.810 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops. In March, the country exported 3.513 million tonnes of these crops.
