Poland to unblock transit of Ukrainian grain as of April 21
The European Commission panel held a discussion on the operation of the Solidarity Lanes through which Ukraine’s foodstuffs are exported amid war, while tomorrow EC Executive Vice President Valdis Dombrovskis will meet with representatives from the five EU countries bordering Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian officials.
Poland will unblock the transit of Ukrainian grain through its territory to ports in Europe on Friday, April 21. However, the ban on imports of Ukrainian agricultural products to the Polish market remains.
The ruling Romanian Social Democrat Party (PSD) will ask the government to issue an emergency decree to impose a temporary ban on Ukrainian grain imports.
