The Ukrainian military are approaching the city of Kherson, and special units are already in the city.
In a phone call, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky briefed Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz on the situation on the battlefield and thanked Germany for its contribution to the defense of the Ukrainian sky and borders.
In Donetsk region, the Russian invaders try to enter Bakhmut or bypass this town, suffering huge losses but continuing to make attempts.
On November 9, 2022, as part of successful offensive actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 12 settlements in the Kherson direction, namely Dudchany, Piatykhatky, Borozenske, Sadok, Bezvodne, Ishchenka, Kostromka, Krasnoliubetsk, Kalynivske, Bobrovyi Kut, Bezimenne and Blahodatne.
The situation is remaining tense but stable in southern Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue advancing closer to the left bank of the Dnieper.

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak discussed Poland’s further support for Ukraine with Secretary of State, Head of the International Policy Bureau of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland Jakub Kumoch and Minister - Member of the Council of Ministers of Poland Michał Dworczyk.
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced another package of security assistance for Ukraine which will include new air defense systems and surface-to-air missiles.
The Russians have withdrawn partially their troops in Kherson region, but their units remain on the right bank of the Dnipro River, so the Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready for any treacherous actions of the enemy.

Turning winter into a weapon is the plan of a terrorist state against Ukraine, as well as against the whole of Europe, but the Ukrainian authorities are doing everything to ensure that this plan of the Russian Federation fails, like various previous ones.
Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched 16 strikes on enemy targets, hitting four Russian command posts and four air defense system positions.
