On November 9, 2022, as part of successful offensive actions, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated 12 settlements in the Kherson direction, namely Dudchany, Piatykhatky, Borozenske, Sadok, Bezvodne, Ishchenka, Kostromka, Krasnoliubetsk, Kalynivske, Bobrovyi Kut, Bezimenne and Blahodatne.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Over the past day, Ukrainian forces have repelled enemy attacks near such settlements as the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, Miasozharivka, Makiivka and Bilohorivka, and the Donetsk region’s Vesele, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Marinka and Pavlivka.

Russian invaders continue to strike critical infrastructure and civilian houses in violation of international humanitarian law, and the laws and customs of war.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. The formation of the Russian-Belarusian grouping of troops continues. The threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of Belarus, including with unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs), continues.

In other directions, Russian troops opened fire as follows:

Russian invaders continue looting across Ukrainian settlements they are retreating from. In the Kherson region, the enemy makes attempts to damage power transmission lines, transport and critical infrastructure as much as possible.

Additionally, Russian troops are forcibly relocating residents within the temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region. In the village of Zelenivka, the enemy is preventing any movement of local residents and setting up defense frontiers. In Tiahynka and Kozatske, Russian invaders planted mines on roads and infrastructure elements. Civilians were reported blown up.

Over the past day, Ukrainian air forces have launched 10 strikes on enemy positions. Seven Russian personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters were struck, as well as three air defense system positions.

On November 10, 2022, Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down one Russian Ka-52 helicopter. Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck two enemy command posts, 10 personnel, ammunition and military equipment clusters, three ammunition depots, five air defense systems, and two more important military targets.
