The Russian military launched a strike with Shahed drones and ballistic missiles on two ports in Odesa region, injuring one person and damaging port infrastructure.
Russian troops are attempting to land on Bilohrudy Island, have resumed assaults near Antonivsky Bridge, and continue to shell Kherson and surrounding areas, but Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding most of the islands at the mouth of the Dnipro River.
Due to enemy drone strikes on the night of December 12, a fire broke out on the territory of one of the state-owned coal mines, and two workers were wounded.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently using long-range Neptun missiles, extended-range Neptuns, the Palianytsia and Flamingo systems, and have now begun employing the Sapsan ballistic missile.
