Air Defense Forces destroyed 50 out of 80 drones used by Russians to attack Ukraine since the evening of December 9.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

According to the report, starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, the invaders attacked Ukraine with 80 Shahed and Gerbera UCAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russian Federation), Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea), and about 50 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare, and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, Air Defense Forces shot down/jammed 50 drones in southern and eastern Ukraine.

Twenty-nine UCAVs were recorded hitting seven locations.

The attack continues, with several enemy drones still airborne.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of December 10, a Russian drone hit a civilian facility in the Koriukivka district of Chernihiv region, causing a fire.
