Not only a strike on Okhmatdyt Hospital: Russian war crimes against Ukrainian children

Children’s Hospital Okhmatdyt became one of the targets during a massive missile attack on the cities across Ukraine on July 8. The Russians fired more than 40 missiles of various types at Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk. Although the exact number of injured and dead is yet to be established, the attack on the medical complex in the Ukrainian capital is already seen one of the biggest Russian war crimes since the full-scale invasion.

Russian strikes on Okhmatdyt: terror accompanied by lies

On July 8, 2024, Russia launched another massive missile attack on Ukraine. Among the targets was Okhmatdyt, the largest children’s hospital in the country, located in Kyiv. For now, two dead and more than 50 injured casualties, including seven injured children, have been confirmed. The rescue operation continued into Tuesday, July 9.
