Situation in Dronivka in Sloviansk sector is difficult but controlled by Defense Forces – military

Units of the Defense Forces in the area of responsibility of the Operation Task Force "East" continue to contain Russian pressure and, over the past day, repelled 105 Russian assault attempts.
According to the military, Russian forces are applying pressure from two directions—Siversk and Yampil. Despite repeated attempts, Russian troops have failed to gain a foothold in Dronivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 63 assault actions by the Russian army in the areas of Shakhove, Pankivtsi, Nykanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, and Dachne.
On December 26, Ukrainian defenders neutralized 100 invaders in this sector, including 71 killed. Four cars, 26 unmanned aerial vehicles, two satellite communication terminals, a UAV control antenna, two command posts, an ammunition depot, and a fuel and lubricants storage facility were also destroyed.
The defense of Pokrovsk continues, with Ukrainian forces maintaining control over the northern part of the city. Search-and-assault operations and the elimination of enemy forces are ongoing in urban areas.
In Myrnohrad, Ukrainian units are holding defensive lines and eliminating Russian troops on the city’s outskirts.
Additional logistics routes to Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are being established to ensure an uninterrupted supply of all necessary items for Ukrainian units and a timely evacuation.
Overall, within the area controlled by the Operation Task Force "East", Russian forces continue to suffer the heaviest losses—392 invaders have been killed over the past day.
A total of 618 UAVs of various types and 90 units of other weapons and military equipment were destroyed, including two tanks and 11 armored vehicles.
Over the past day, 47 Russian unmanned aerial vehicle crew positions were hit.
Units of the Rocket Forces and Artillery carried out 1,280 fire missions.
As reported by Ukrinform, total combat losses of Russian forces from February 24, 2022, to December 27, 2025, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,203,310 personnel, including 1,240 over the past day.
