Over 119,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in Ukraine on Sep 27

Over 119,000 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on September 27, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.

"As many as 119,378 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, on September 27, 2021. Some 70,004 people received their first dose, and 49,374 people were fully vaccinated," the report reads.

According to the ministry, 896 mobile vaccination teams, 2,971 vaccination sites, and 344 vaccination centers were operating across the country in the past day.

A total of 12,359,741 doses have been administered in Ukraine since it launched the COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with 6,851,529 people receiving their first dose and 5,508,212 people receiving both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).

Some 6,552 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 27.
