Netherlands to invest €248 million in drones for Ukraine

Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius announced during a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group that the Netherlands would invest €248 million in drones for Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, she shared the news on the social media platform X.
“The Netherlands is investing €248 million in drones for Ukraine. These drones are manufactured in both our countries. This further strengthens our cooperation and our own industry. And most importantly: the drones help to repel the Russian attacks!” the statement reads.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting that Ukraine has strengthened its air defense. In particular, the interception rate of cruise missiles has reached nearly 80%, while drone interception has risen to 90%.
