“Together with our partners, we must intensify pressure on the aggressor to compel them toward a just, lasting, and sustainable peace,” Shmyhal emphasized.

The minister briefed the delegation on Ukraine’s defense priorities.

The parties also discussed the creation of robust security guarantees to prevent future aggression against Ukraine. According to Shmyhal, work on these guarantees is being carried out in close cooperation with international partners.

They also addressed preparations for a bilateral agreement between the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States concerning the production and sale of drones. Relevant documents were handed over to the American side during the meeting.

“I thank General Kellogg and the United States of America for their leadership, solidarity, and support for Ukraine on the path to peace,” the defense minister concluded.
