"On October 24, the Czech Republic will host the Second Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimea Platform, in which almost 70 parliamentary delegations from all over the world will take part," the statement said.

It is noted that the summit will be co-chaired by Ukrainian Parliament Chairman Ruslan Stefanchuk and Speaker of the House of Czech Parliament Deputies, Marketa Pekarova Adamova.

It is also reported that within Stefanchuk’s visit, which will last on October 24-25, he will hold a number of bilateral meetings, including with Czechia’s President Peter Pavel and parliament speakers from partner countries.

The International Crimea Platform was launched in the summer of 2021 on the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine with the purpose of uniting and coordinating national and international efforts to de-occupy the Crimean Peninsula.

This year, the Summit of the Crimea Platform at the level of parliament speakers will be held for the second time.

The parliamentary dimension aims to consolidate international efforts on assistance to Ukraine and support in the restoration of sovereignty and territorial integrity, to draw attention to the issue of illegal occupation of Crimea and ways of de-occupation of the entire territory of Ukraine. An important aspect is the support of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and the involvement of countries in support of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
