War update: 125 combat engagements on frontline over past day
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook in its 08:00 update on April 14.
The enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles, as well as 70 airstrikes, dropping 246 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 10,256 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,828 shelling attacks, including 72 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian forces launched airstrikes near the settlements of Novoivanivka in the Sumy region, Prosiana and Pysantsi in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Vozdvyzhivka, Novomykolaivka, Yehorivka, Charivne, Dolynka, Verkhnia Tersa, and Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region; and Tomaryne in the Kherson region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, one combat engagement took place, with Russian forces attempting to advance toward Taratutyne. Additionally, they carried out two airstrikes, dropping eight guided aerial bombs, and conducted 82 shelling attacks, three of which involved MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian troops launched five assaults near Zybyne, Lyman, Synelnykove, and Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces attacked three times toward Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled eight attempts to advance near Dibrova, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces stopped two Russian attempts to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled one attack near Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 21 Russian assault actions near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, and Muravka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces launched seven attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Vorone, Zlahoda, and Novohryhorivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, 11 Russian attacks were recorded near Zaliznychne, Pryluky, Hirke, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted to advance twice near Stepnohirsk and Konovalova.
In the Prydniprovske sector, Ukrainian units repelled three enemy attacks near Bilohrudyi Island and the Antonivskyi Bridge.
No signs of Russian offensive group formation were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, total Russian combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, through April 14, 2026, are estimated at about 1,312,960 personnel.
