Russian drone hits high-rise building in Kharkiv

A drone struck a multi-storey residential building in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district.

According to Ukrinform, Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on his Telegram channel.

“A combat drone hit a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district. The consequences are being clarified,” the post reads.

The mayor later provided an update.

“According to preliminary information, the strike hit the upper floors, and minor smoke has been observed. There are currently no reports of casualties,” Terekhov said.

Earlier, the Air Force had warned of enemy attack drones heading toward Kharkiv.

An air raid alert remains in effect in the city.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, yesterday, Russian forces struck Velykyi Burluk in the Kharkiv region, leaving one person dead and three injured.
