Ukraine to open consulate general in Wroclaw this year - Kuleba

Ukraine's Consulate General in Wroclaw will open by the end of the year, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said in an interview with Ukrinform.

"We will open Ukraine's consulate in Wroclaw by the end of the year. This is the task I set for the ambassador, and he confirmed that it would be done. Our consul general has already been appointed, the team is already there, the paint is drying in the premises, and we will be opening our consulate general," Kuleba said.

He added that last year he promised the Ukrainian community to open another consulate in Poland and this promise will be fulfilled.

Ukraine's consulates general in Poland are now operating in Lublin and Krakow. Ukraine also has its consular department in Warsaw and consulate in Krakow. In addition, Ukraine has ten honorary consulates in Poland. In total, Ukraine has offices in 13 of the 16 Polish voivodships.

As of today, about 1.5 million Ukrainian migrant workers could stay in Poland.
