Zelensky enacts secret NSDC decision on development of Ukrainian fleet

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) decision on the development of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until 2031.
The decree to that effect, No. 459/2021, has been posted on the website of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
"To put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated August 20, 2021 "On the development of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until 2031"," the document reads.
The decision itself has not been made public; it is classified as "secret".
The NSDC secretary is responsible for monitoring the implementation of this decision.
As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Ukraine should build a large fleet by 2035.
