Ukraine and Turkey have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries of Turkey (SSM).

“We are glad to welcome such a powerful Ukrainian delegation to Turkey. I know that visits to industrial facilities are on the agenda. We are grateful that you contribute to the development of relations between Turkey and Ukraine in the defense industry,” Undersecretary for Defence Industries İsmail Demir greeted the Ukrainian delegation.

“There is strong representation on both sides. I am sure that this will also be the key to success. I've been to Turkish enterprises and I want to see how they have changed during this time,” Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleh Urusky said at the beginning of the meeting.

The signing of the memorandum took place at a meeting of the High-Level Coordinating Council.

As Ukrinform reported, the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Turkey will last three days and will be held in two cities - Ankara and Istanbul.
