Emergency power outages introduced in Kyiv and Bucha district

Emergency electricity outages have been introduced in Kyiv and in the Bucha district, Kyiv region.

That is according to DTEK Kyivski Elektromerezhi, Ukrinform reports.

"NPC Ukrenergo has ordered the introduction of emergency power outages. Scheduled outage timetables are currently not in effect. Please use electricity responsibly if you currently have power to help stabilize the system," the statement reads.

DTEK Group added that emergency outages had also been imposed in the Bucha district.

As of the evening of January 12, stabilization outage schedules were in effect in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Obolonskyi, Solomianskyi, and Sviatoshynskyi districts.
