Russian forces launch 856 strikes on Zaporizhzhia region over past day, one civilian killed

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 856 strikes across 29 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in the death of one civilian.

This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.

“A 34-year-old man was killed as a result of an enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia. Overall, during the day, the invaders carried out 856 strikes across 29 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region,” Fedorov wrote.

According to him, Russian forces carried out 14 airstrikes on Ternuvate, Tavriiske, Rizdvianka, Zalyvne, Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, and Verkhnia Tersa.

In addition, 549 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Rozumivka, Novomykolaivka, Chervonodniprovka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiriia, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Pryluky, Dobropillia, Solodke, and Tsvitkove.

Seven MLRS attacks were recorded on Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiriia, Zelene, Dobropillia, and Solodke.

The invaders carried out 286 artillery strikes on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiriia, Zelene, Varvarivka, Pryluky, Dobropillia, and Solodke.

According to the regional administration, 30 reports of damage to residential buildings and vehicles were received.

As previously reported, in the Kherson region over the past day, one person was killed and seven others, including a child, were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
