Zelensky: Russia records its highest war losses in past two months

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this during a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“There are many Russian soldiers. Their largest losses were precisely last month (…) and the previous one — in October. These are the greatest losses of Russian troops in almost four years of war. With video confirmation, 25,500 servicemen have been killed,” Zelensky said.

At the same time, he noted that Russian forces do have some advances.

“Undoubtedly, Russia does have advances. Russia has several offensive actions and several operations. None of these operations has been successful,” the President emphasized.

He stressed that the most important element in this is the cost, which is measured not “in meters or kilometers, but in people.”

As reported by Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated on November 28 that in Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, Ukrainian forces continue to conduct both defensive and search-and-strike operations — the detection of Russian troops who have managed to infiltrate Ukrainian defensive lines is ongoing.
