Eight people, including two children, injured in Kharkiv region due to Russian shelling

Eight people, including two children, were injured in the Kharkiv region as a result of Russian shelling.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“Eight people were injured as a result of the shelling, including two children. In the city of Kharkiv, women aged 74, 70, and 32, as well as two 8-year-old boys, suffered acute stress reactions; in the village of Stetskivka, Velykyi Burluk community, a 37-year-old man, a 43-year-old man, and a 36-year-old woman were wounded,” Syniehubov noted.

According to him, over the past 24 hours, the Industrial district of Kharkiv and seven settlements in the Kharkiv region were hit by enemy strikes.

“In the city of Kharkiv, an apartment building was damaged; in the Bohodukhiv district, two private homes were damaged (in the villages of Odnorobivka and Ivano-Shiychyne); and in the Kupiansk district, a car was damaged (in the village of Stetskivka),” Syniehubov added.

The enemy deployed 5 Molniya-type UAVs, 3 FPV drones, and 14 UAVs (type to be determined) in the Kharkiv region.

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 253 people over the past 24 hours.

As reported by Ukrinform, a 59-year-old man was injured in the Kharkiv region on May 8 due to enemy shelling.
