Russian forces damage high-rise building and private houses in Kherson region; casualties reported

In the Kherson region over the past 24 hours, Russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, damaging a high-rise building and eight private homes. Seven people were injured, including a child.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.

“From 6:00 a.m. on May 9, 2026, to 6:00 a.m. on May 10, 2026, Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential neighborhoods in the region’s settlements, specifically damaging a high-rise building and eight private houses. As a result of the Russian aggression, seven people were injured, including one child,” Prokudin noted.

He stated that Russians attacked Tomyna Balka, Urozhaine, Novoraisk, Mykhailivka, Novooleksandrivka, Komyshany, Bilozerka, Novovorontsovka, Beryslav, Rakivka, Sahaidachne, Kostyrka, Dudchany, Antonivka, Zolota Balka, Nezlamne, Prydniprovske, Tokarivka, Molodizhne, Zmiivka, and the city of Kherson with drones, aviation, and artillery.

It is noted that 16 people were evacuated from the liberated communities in the region yesterday.

As reported by Ukrinform, seven settlements in the Kherson region came under enemy fire yesterday, and two people were wounded.
