How Moscow is trying to discredit the Peace Summit

On June 15-16, the Swiss town of Bürgenstock will host the Global Peace Summit, at which Ukraine, together with high-ranking representatives of almost a hundred states and international organizations, will discuss the conditions for achieving just peace and security for Ukraine and the world.

Ukrainian forces have struck one of Russia’s most advanced Su-57 stealth fighter jets on ground at Akhtubinks air base in Russia’s Astrakhan region. The Su-57 was the first such warplane to be damaged in a combat operation. The United States has announced a new USD 225 million security aid package for Ukraine. Part of this will go toward the recovery and reconstruction of Ukrainian power grids


Russia’s manpower losses up 1,100 in past day

Russia’s total combat manpower losses in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to June 11, 2024 have amounted to an estimated 520,850, including 1,100 killed and wounded in the past day alone.
