About 130 Ukrainians have expressed their desire to be evacuated from Afghanistan, and more than 30 citizens and their families have left the country on their own over the past month.

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this on Twitter.

"Now about 130 [Ukrainians] want to return. We are working out safe ways to leave [Afghanistan]. We don't leave out people in trouble abroad and we have already proved it many times. They also leave [Afghanistan] on their own. In the past month, more than 30 citizens and their families left Afghanistan on their own," Kuleba wrote.

On September 23, a plane arrived in Kyiv with 96 citizens of Ukraine and other countries evacuated from Afghanistan.

In total, Ukraine evacuated more than 650 people from Afghanistan. Among them were citizens of Ukraine and other countries, including UN representatives, members of human rights organizations, employees of Global Mail, USA Today, The Washington Post, Stars and Stripes, as well as individuals who cooperated with the coalition's contingent.
