Ukraine exports over 1.6M t of grains, pulses

In the 2023/2024 marketing year (MY) (July 1-24, 2023), Ukraine exported 1.666 million tonnes of grains and legumes.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported this.

It is noted that in the current MY Ukraine has already exported 563,000 tonnes of wheat, 184,000 tonnes of barley, 300 tonnes of rye, and 915,000 tonnes of corn.

For comparison, in the first 29 days of 2022/2023 MY Ukraine exported 1.405 million tonnes of grains and pulses, including 325,000 tonnes of wheat, 131,000 tonnes of barley, and 941,000 tonnes of corn. In July 2022, Ukraine did not export rye.

In 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 7,100 tonnes of flour (3,700 tonnes were exported in the first 29 days of 2022/2023 MY).

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine exported almost 49 million tonnes of grains and pulses in the 2022/2023 MY (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023).
