Ukrzaliznytsia has no plans to raise passenger charges in 2017

Head of the Supervisory Board at Ukrzaliznytsia Yevhen Kravtsov told this to reporters on August 9, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As for passenger charges, no increase is planned until the end of the year. As for freight charges, one of the key tasks during my first days in office is to conduct a discussion with the Ukrainian business .The railway should be a partner of Ukrainian business and industry, not a servant, but a partner on equal terms," Kravtsov said.

According to him, from next year, Ukrzaliznytsia should transfer to a new tariff setting system: it should correlate with objective indices and be predictable for business.
