The Kharkiv Regional Council stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Tonight, at approximately 00:17, according to preliminary data, a Russian Geran-2 UAV struck the territory of the ecological and naturalist department of the municipal institution Kharkiv Regional Palace of Children and Youth Creativity. As a result of the strike, four buildings were damaged. The explosion occurred directly in front of them," the statement said.

Two staff members who were on duty managed to take shelter in time and were not injured, the regional council reported. The blast wave shattered ten windows in the buildings and also damaged a glass greenhouse and an orangery.
According to the institution's director, Tetiana Pidberezkina, many animals live at the center, including horses, goats, rabbits, birds, and others.

"Despite the severe stress, all of them are alive, and their enclosures survived. Specialists have already conducted an inspection and are providing the necessary care to the animals," she said.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in the Chernihiv region a lyceum was destroyed and an emergency medical facility building was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
