Zelensky: Drone Deal may be discussed at upcoming US meeting

The President said this while speaking with journalists, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As for the United States of America, you know that we proposed a Drone Deal a year ago… because they are our priority partner. This is not only about interceptor drones, but first of all about naval drones and our long-range drones that have already been tested in war. Of course, this also includes a package of exchanging important knowledge, training, and so on. I am very interested in signing this agreement with our close partner – the United States. So when President Donald Trump is ready, I will definitely be ready. I think our negotiating group will also discuss this issue,” the Ukrainian President said.

Zelensky also noted that Ukraine is currently working with countries in the Middle East.

“We are preparing serious arrangements and agreements. We will see when they are ready,” he added.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian team has departed for the United States to discuss security arrangements, including air defense and ending Russia’s war against Ukraine.

Russia has said it will not take part in talks involving representatives of Ukraine and the United States on Saturday, March 21.
