123 clashes on frontline as Ukrainian forces neutralize over 180 Russian troops in Pokrovsk sector

A total of 123 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded as of 22:00 on March 29, with the enemy showing the highest activity in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this in its operational update published on Facebook.

Throughout the day, the enemy carried out 50 airstrikes, dropping 148 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 5,944 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,717 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 92 shelling attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched one assault near Vilcha.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy assaults near Novoosynove, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, Novoplatonivka, and Borivska Andriivka.

In the Lyman sector, the enemy attempted three advances toward Cherneshchyna and Novoserhiivka, with two clashes still ongoing.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five assaults near Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, Zakitne, and Kalenyky.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance near Fedorivka Druha and Mykolaivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces carried out 22 assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Kleban-Byk, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. Two clashes are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy launched 25 attacks near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Udachne, Toretsk, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Biliakivka, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiia, Novopavlivka, and toward Hannivka. Two clashes are ongoing.

Preliminary reports indicate that Ukrainian forces eliminated 112 Russian troops and wounded 69 more in this sector. A tank, four vehicles, and 108 units of special equipment were destroyed. Additionally, three infantry shelters, an artillery system, and one vehicle were damaged. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or suppressed 688 enemy drones of various types.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attempted nine assaults near Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Zlahoda, Ternove, Vyshneve, Rybne, and Krasnohirsk, with one clash ongoing. The settlements of Lisne and Pokrovske were hit by guided aerial bombs.

In the Huliaipole sector, ten attacks were recorded near Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipole, and Myrne. Airstrikes were also carried out near Vozdvyzhenske, Shyroke, and Dolynka. One clash is ongoing.

In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions near Prymorske, while the area of Zarichne was struck by airstrikes.

No assault actions were recorded in the Dnipro River sector.

No significant changes were reported in other sectors, the General Staff said.
