Massive Russian attack on Kyiv: Death toll climbs to 12, including two children

The number of people killed in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district as a result of the Russian strike on May 14 has increased to 12, including two children.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Due to the Russian strike on Kyiv, the number of dead has increased to 12, including two children,” the statement said.

Earlier, the Kyiv branch of the State Emergency Service reported on Facebook that rescuers had recovered the bodies of two more victims from the rubble of a residential high-rise in the Darnytskyi district.

Thus, as of 19:30, the death toll at this site reached 11 people, including one child, the agency noted.

Search and rescue operations and debris removal are still ongoing.
