Defense forces repel massive assault in Zaporizhzhia sector, destroy armored vehicle column

Soldiers of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with neighboring units, thwarted an enemy attempt to launch an attack using a large column of armored vehicles.

The 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that the defenders completely destroyed ten units of armored vehicles belonging to the Russian invaders and also eliminated enemy infantry that was leading the assault and attempting to gain a foothold.

“The enemy failed to achieve any of its objectives. The remnants of the enemy infantry were spotted during their panicked retreat (and not just spotted—the pursuit was intense),” the brigade noted, emphasizing that this battle exemplifies perfect coordination among units.

As reported by Ukrinform, fighters of the 37th Separate Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian Navy repelled a massive assault by Russian invaders in the Oleksandrivka sector.
