Power outage hits Mykolaiv, over 200 settlements in Mykolaiv region

An emergency power outage in the Mykolaiv region has left 256 settlements without electricity, including the regional center.
Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"As a result of the emergency shutdown, 256 settlements lost power. Currently, electricity has been restored to 88 of them, including the city of Mykolaiv. Restoration work continues in 167 locations. We expect to fix everything by the end of the day," Kim said.
Earlier, Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported that a technical failure in the system had caused the blackout in the city.
