699 children killed in Ukraine since start of full-scale war
The Ukrainian Juvenile Police reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“As of April 16, 2026, according to official data, 3,156 children in Ukraine have fallen victim to the Russian Federation’s full-scale military aggression,” the statement reads.
In particular, according to law enforcement officials, 699 children have been killed and 2,457 children have sustained injuries of varying severity.
At the same time, it is noted that the figures are not final.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the police have processed thousands of reports regarding missing children, and 52,276 minors have been located and returned.
As reported, four people, including a 12-year-old boy, were killed in Kyiv on the night of April 15 as a result of an attack by the Russian Federation.
