A Russian drone attack in Odesa has damaged the administrative section of a maternity hospital, with no casualties reported.

According to Ukrinform, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov announced this on Telegram.

"As a result of an overnight attack by strike drones, the administrative part of a maternity hospital was damaged. Fortunately, there are no casualties or injuries," he wrote.

The mayor added that the very fact such a facility — where life begins — was targeted is shocking in its brutality.

Explosions were heard in Odesa overnight during a Russian drone attack.
