Russia trying to move troops to Oskil River's western bank – Ukrainian military

Russia is attempting to move troops to the western bank of the Oskil River in the Kupiansk sector.

The Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Group of Forces announced this via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Russian troops continue efforts to secure a new bridgehead on the river's right bank, particularly near the village of Krasne Pershe.

"Measures are being taken to prevent any deterioration of the tactical situation," the statement added.

Over the past 24 hours, on the Kupiansk front, Russian forces launched eight attacks in the Petropavlivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove areas, but Ukrainian defenders repelled the assaults.
