Drone attack on Zolochiv community: Death toll rises to three, woman injured

On March 9, Russian forces struck a residential area in the village of Ivashky in the Zolochiv community, Kharkiv region, killing three people and injuring one woman.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the region's military administration, announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

In Ivashky, a Russian drone dropped an explosive device, killing a woman and two men. Another woman sustained injuries.

According to Syniehubov, in the village of Pokrovske, Izium district, two Shahed drones hit a poultry processing plant, damaging the slaughterhouse building and refrigeration units.

In the village of Verkhniozorianske, Kupiansk district, a Shahed drone attack caused a fire at an agricultural enterprise. The fire damaged a hangar, six tractors, and a truck. The hangar's structural elements caught fire, but no casualties were reported.

In the village of Slatyne, Kharkiv district, a guided aerial bomb (KAB) strike damaged a private residential house. No casualties were reported.

In Borova, Izium district, a KAB hit a previously destroyed building, igniting dry grass in an open area. The explosion also damaged two private houses, a municipal building, and three vehicles. No casualties were reported.

In the Borova territorial community, shelling damaged a power line, leaving the villages of Pisky-Radkivski and Maliivka without electricity. Restoration efforts are underway, according to the regional governor.

On the Kharkiv front, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attacks near Vovchansk.

On the Kupiansk front, four Russian assaults were recorded. Ukrainian forces repelled enemy storming attempts near Lozova, Petropavlivka, and Zahryzove, Syniehubov added.
