Five civilians killed, 13 injured in Russian shelling of Donetsk region

On February 22, the Russian forces killed five civilians in Donetsk region.

The Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"On February 22, Russians killed five residents of Donetsk region: three in Kostiantynivka and two in Pokrovsk," the statement reads.

Additionally, 13 people were injured across the region in the past 24 hours.

The total casualty count does not include Mariupol and Volnovakha, where precise data remains unavailable.

As reported earlier, on February 22, the Russian forces launched three airstrikes at Kostiantynivka, likely using FAB-250 bombs with UMPK guidance modules. A densely populated residential area was hit.

A 69-year-old woman was killed, while two other women and a man sustained injuries.
