Zaluzhnyi, Brown talk Ukraine Army plans for winter
Zaluzhnyi reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
The commander-in-chief briefed the U.S. general in detail about the latest battlefield developments, noting that the Avdiivka, Kupiansk, and Marinka directions remain the hottest.
According to Ukraine’s top commander, the situation as of today is difficult, but remains “under control”. The Ukrainian Armed Forces pursue the offensive efforts in the designated areas, inflicting heavy losses on enemy manpower and military hardware.
"With General Brown, we also discussed our plans for the winter period and separately focused on the urgent needs of the Ukrainian Army. First of all, this is about artillery rounds, air defense systems, and surface-to-air missiles," the commander-in-chief noted.
The two generals also discussed the training of Ukrainian servicemen and the restoration of combat capability of Ukrainian brigades.
Zaluzhnyi thanked the American partners for their support and assistance to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the last two days, the Russian invaders have intensified airstrikes in the Avdiivka area, mainly dropping guided aerial bombs. On Monday, the Ukrainian forces repelled seven enemy assaults in the said area.
