Ukraine agrees on ten-year defense deals with three Gulf states, receives interest from 11 more countries – Zelensky

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"We have agreed on ten-year contracts already with three key countries: Saudi Arabia, the Emirates, and Qatar. We already have requests from 11 countries – the Middle East and the Gulf – and are also gradually looking toward the Caucasus," he said.

He noted that the so-called Drone Deal framework will include at least ten different agreements covering Ukrainian weapons exports.

"It provides for co-production – building our production lines both in Ukraine and in other countries. New technologies that we jointly develop with specific states, which they invest in. And there is an agreement on annual financing volumes and a fixed number of years," Zelensky explained.

He added that Ukraine is also developing a European track of cooperation.

"There is already work starting with Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands. Of course, we have good relations with Britain and France. I am confident that this will also happen there," he said.
