Russians lost 16 pieces of equipment in Tavria sector in past 24 hours – General Tarnavskyi

Ukraine's defense forces destroyed 16 pieces of enemy equipment in the Tavria sector in the past 24 hours.
General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational grouping of troops, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The defense forces are working in the Tavria direction," Tarnavskyi said.
According to him, Ukrainian artillery units performed 1,359 missions in the past day.
Tarnavskyi said that Ukrainian forces had destroyed a tank, four self-propelled guns, a 2A19 Msta-S howitzer, five artillery systems and mortars, and vehicles.
Seven enemy ammunition depots were also destroyed.
From February 24, 2022 to July 31, 2023, Ukraine's defense forces eliminated about 246,190 Russian invaders, including 490 in the past day alone.
