Vovchansk strike: Prosecutors say guided aerial bombs used

The Russians hit the town of Vovchansk in Kharkiv region using guided aerial bombs.

This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ukrinform saw.

"According to the inquiry, on April 18, around 22:00, the Russian military launched an airstrike on the town of Vovchansk. According to a preliminary report, the enemy used two guided aerial bombs," the statement reads.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the evening of April 18, the Russians launched an air strike on Vovchansk. Two people were injured, according to initial reports. On April 19, two bodies were retrieved from under the rubble.

Two houses and farm buildings were destroyed and 10 buildings were damaged.

As a result of the impact, a large-scale fire broke out in the local market, which rescuers put out within six hours. According to the State Emergency Service, about 60 kiosks were set ablaze and another 150 were damaged by fire and blast waves.
